Dashboard provides quarterly reporting of deaths in custody
Today the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) has released updated statistics to the deaths in custody dashboard. The dashboard presents quarterly deaths in custody data for the April–June quarter, the year to date (January–June) and the last five years.

New Deaths in custody in Australia quarterly dashboard
The AIC has released the Deaths in custody in Australia dashboard which presents quarterly Indigenous and non-Indigenous deaths in custody data for the most recent five years. The dashboard provides accurate and contemporary reporting on deaths in custody at a national level.
Awarding exceptional crime and violence prevention programs for 30 years
Nominations are now open for the 2022 Australian Crime and Violence Prevention Awards (ACVPA). Now in the 30th year, the ACVPA recognise and reward good practice in the prevention or reduction of violence and other types of crime in Australia.
