The AIC is committed to responding to media enquiries in a timely manner and forging a professional partnership with media outlets. All media enquiries and interview requests are required in writing via media@acic.gov.au.
Please note that the AIC does not comment directly on government policy, current police investigations or individual criminal cases.

Following Machinery of Government changes in 2015, the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission Media team works closely with subject-matter experts within the AIC to facilitate engagement with local, national and international news organisations.
The Media team liaises with members of the media and not the general public.
The media office is staffed between 9 am and 5 pm AEST weekdays and can be contacted

An on-call liaison officer is also available out-of-hours to facilitate urgent media enquiries, and can be contacted on 0409 603 637.
