Abstract

This study is based on a large longitudinal study of Queensland children. Evidence from maternal reports shows that the best predictor of aggression and delinquency outcomes at age 14 is aggression at age five. These findings suggest that effective early intervention programs can be among the most productive crime prevention strategies.
