Femicide: an overview of major findings



An overview of the major findings of a larger study of the intentional killing of adult women is presented. Data showing trends in the homicide of females, the context of femicide, and factors associated with the occurrence of femicide are provided. Mouzos also makes a comparison between men and women as victims of homicide.
