Abstract
An examination of alcohol free spaces or restrictions on the public consumption of alcohol is explored in this article. The project involved using a mixed methods evaluation on the implementation of public drinking prohibition, the effectiveness of the prohibition in reducing crime and harm and also to evaluate the impact of the prohibition on a number of target groups.
