The first Australian national survey of crimes against businesses

Abstract

This national survey forms part of an internationally comparable survey of crimes against businesses. It took the form of an 83 point questionnaire addressing the following issues: estimates of the incidence and characteristics of crimes against businesses; risk factors associated with crime problems; crime prevention issues and costs; and the costs of crimes against businesses. This monograph consists primarily of the tabulated results of each question surveyed as well as a short narrative interpretation of the results for each section.
