Abstract
The phrases white collar and corporate crime are being heard with increasing frequency in this country, particularly in connection with a number of spectacular company crashes in New South Wales which have cost investors millions of dollars. There are, however, many other types of white collar crime which at present receive little attention. This paper is an attempt to provide some appreciation of the varieties of such crime and of the way this society is responding to it. Specifically, the paper aims to assemble publicly available information on selected categories of white collar crime.
