Abstract
This paper examines the different State and Federal legislations on fauna trafficking and the impact of these differences on the enforcement of trafficking provisions. It discusses the marketplace for wildlife commodities and the objectives of effective regulation, legislative provisions for intrastate and interstate transactions in fauna and non-legislative administrative provisions.
