Abstract

Senior administrators in charge of prisons and other correctional institutions in the Asia Pacific region come together to discuss various matters relating to prison administration. This is the sixth Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators. Agenda items covered within the conference include incidents within prisons; facilities and programs for female prisoners; extent and use of minimum force by correctional officers in prisons; recruitment and development training of correctional officers; and changing responsibilities of correctional administrators.
