Abstract

Senior administrators in charge of prisons and other correctional institutions in the Asia Pacific region come together to discuss various matters relating to prison administration. This is the third Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators. Agenda items covered within the conference include correctional officer staff development; release of prisoners under supervision; prisoner vocational training; and the classification and categorisation of prisoners.
