Abstract
Senior administrators in charge of prisons and other correctional institutions in the Asia Pacific region come together to discuss various matters relating to prison administration. This is the thirteenth Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators. This report provides a summary of the discussion that occurred during the formal conference sessions. Topics discussed include the rights and treatment of unconvicted prisoners; effective treatment of different types of offenders; public awareness and support for corrections; and international cooperation for corrections.
