Corrections in Asia and the Pacific: proceedings of the first Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators, Hong Kong, 25-29 February 1980

Abstract

Senior administrators in charge of prisons and other correctional institutions in the Asia Pacific region come together to discuss various matters relating to prison administration. This is the first Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators. Agenda items covered within the conference include crime and imprisonment trends and problems; alternatives to imprisonment and effects on prison management; management services; and the Sixth United Nations Congress and implications for Asia and the Pacific.
