Homicide and older people in Australia

Abstract

This paper identifies patterns and trends in homicide involving older Australians using data held as part of the National Homicide Monitoring Program. Despite homicide being a rare occurrence among older Australians, understanding the factors associated with these incidents is important to develop preventive measures.
