A statistical profile of crime in Australia

This collection of statistical tables was prepared for the Second National Outlook Symposium on Crime in Australia, held in Canberra in March 1977. The volume details the level of crime in all Australian jurisdictions; the place of occurrence of crime by type of crime; offenders, charges and arrests; responses to crime in terms of cost, personnel and case loads; and an international perspective on crime in selected countries and major regions.
