Abstract: 

The costs of juvenile crime, and prevention strategies for juvenile crime, are examined. Part one of this report describes a conceptual framework for the costing of juvenile justice. Part two looks at direct costs of crime, and crime prevention costs. In part three, some juvenile crime prevention programs are discussed.
