Organisational Structure

The AIC is a single entity agency regulated under the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 (FMA Act) consistent with Government policy for managing statutory agencies.

The AIC will, by legislation, become a FMA agency on July 1 2011


The AIC functions as a research agency and has no decision making powers that affect members of the public.
