First national outlook symposium : crime in Australia

Introduction

This syposium examining crime in Australia aims to define an agenda for crime prevention and its social context; and to consider research strategies to assist in the prevention of crime and violence. A broad range of priority issues are addressed, including responses to crime; public policy initiatives; best practices; crime prevention; organised crime; child abuse and family violence; policing multicultural Australia; white collar crime; violent crime; consumer crime; fraud; Aboriginal justice issues; and juvenile justice.
