Nicole Rose PSM

Nicole Rose PSM was appointed Acting Director of the Australian Institute of Criminology on 16 August 2017. She is also the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.

Prior to her appointment as ACIC Acting CEO, she held the position of Deputy Secretary Criminal Justice at the Attorney-General’s Department from March 2017.

Ms Rose was previously the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission following the merge of CrimTrac and the Australian Crime Commission on 1 July 2016.
Prior to the merge, Ms Rose was the CEO of CrimTrac from April 2015 to June 2016.

Ms Rose has worked as the Director of the Office of the New South Wales (NSW) Police and in several NSW public sector departments including the NSW Premier’s Department, the Ministry for Police and the Serious Offenders’ Review Council within the Department of Corrective Services.

She has tertiary qualifications in Business and Management and has completed the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship in Ethical Leadership at Melbourne University.

In 2013, Ms Rose was awarded the Public Service Medal for services to policing.
